I'm not sure where I should really start...
How about I tell you a little bit about myself?
My name is Lorraine, I'm 20 years old, and have two little boys.
We live in a very "alternative" part of Australia. It is absolutely amazing.
I had my eldest son at 18, just three days after my final day of Year 12.
I found out I was pregnant with my second less then a year later.
I was planning on enrolling into uni a few months after getting the positive.
I'm enrolled to start in February.
Did I mention I'm terrified?
I've had mental health issues for most of my teenage years, after the stressful (although healthy) pregnancy and birth of my first, I was diagnosed with Post Natal Depression. (PND). I received counselling, and thought things were on the rise again. But the unexpected second pregnancy, through a spanner in the works, and I was marked as "High risk." A few weeks after my second son was born, the black dog bite again. And she bit hard. I knew i needed to do something, so I am again receiving counselling, from a different support network. I am also on medication. I have good days, and I have bad days, but I try to focus on all the good.
